Athletes

AthletesThere are over 2000 colleges and universities that offer athletic scholarships or financial aid to gifted student-athletes. However, due to a lack of knowledge of the recruiting process and lack of exposure to the athlete, thousands of qualified athletes are overlooked every year. The top Division I athletes are on the radar of college coaches, but most athletes are not. What can student-athletes do to help them be recruited? Can anyone guarantee that student-athletes will be widely recruited? Not really, but there are lots of things that can be done to improve their chances.

We help determine the student’s level of interest and athletic level, then we determine next steps. Based on interest and ability, we recommend several resources for the student to research for the best fit for assistance in the complex recruiting process. We provide resources ranging from a full service program to the “do-it-yourself websites. Student athletes must be prepared to attend a college or university who “wants” them and it may be a college they have never heard of on the other side of the United States.

As we assist student-athletes in the college application process, we keep both athletics and academics in mind in an effort to find the best fit college for each student. Our focus is always on the academic, social and financial fit, and we simply provide other resources if a student’s primary focus is athletics.
